CIRRUS was set up by innovative Chartered Accountants Jim Glanville and Nick Mitchell, both former directors of Mitchells, a successful Chartered Accountancy Practice in Cheltenham.
As small business owners themselves, Jim and Nick were only too aware of the challenges faced by time pressured entrepreneurs. Mediocre Bookkeeping, out of date and often inaccurate management accounts all too commonly mean that monetary decisions are made without a true picture of the business’ finances. Like driving without a map, it is easy to make a wrong turn.
The accountant in today’s online world needs to be in the car with the driver helping to navigate, rather than plotting the route taken months later. We recognise that the view from the front window is far more exciting and relevant than in the rear view mirror.
